Amanda Pacillas, FNP-BC
Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner
I am an orthopedic nurse practitioner that is very dedicated to helping others overcome the orthopedic challenges that brought them through my door.
I work directly with our surgeons here at orthopedic associates to help manage the patients needs both conservatively and surgically. My ultimate goal is to educate patients and help them recover as efficiently as possibly by providing high quality care!
I grew up here in the Central Valley. Born and raised in this community. I am now raising my family here.
I have been working in healthcare for over 20 years. And I have dedicated my life to helping others. I started my career as a nurse at Kaweah health care. After 15 years of nursing I wanted to care for patients on a different level so I went back to school to be a family nurse practitioner. I have been fortunate in that I have had a very broad spectrum of medical training. From family practice, dermatology, emergency medicine, and orthopedics. I have always been interested in advancing my knowledge base in orthopedic medicine. Because as a health care provider I have cared for many patients with a variety of injuries, aches/pains, and broken bones. So when I was given the opportunity to further my journey in this field, I jumped at it! Through rigorous training I have become proficient in, sports injuries, fracture management, intra-articular joint injections guided by ultrasound, and diabetic wound care.
